Q.
How do you use the Denman D81M Blue Belle Style & Shine Brush?
A.
Detangle first with a wide-tooth comb, then brush from the ends up towards the roots, letting the mixed bristles smooth and massage as you go. Flip your head for extra volume. Do not start brushing at the roots through knots, as that can pull and break hair.
Q.
Can the Denman D81M Blue Belle Style & Shine Brush be used on dry hair?
A.
Yes, it works beautifully on dry hair to smooth, shape and polish, and the natural bristles help distribute oils for shine. It is a great finishing brush. Do not drag it through tight tangles on dry hair, as detangling with a comb first is gentler.
Q.
How does the Denman D81M Blue Belle Style & Shine Brush add shine?
A.
The natural bristles glide over the hair and help spread the scalp's natural oils down the strands, smoothing the cuticle for a glossy finish. Slow, even strokes work best. Do not over brush, as too much can rough up fine hair and create static.
Q.
How is the Denman D81M Blue Belle Style & Shine Brush different from a regular brush?
A.
Unlike a single-bristle brush, the mix of natural and nylon quill bristles lets it detangle and polish at the same time for a smooth, shiny finish. It does two jobs at once. Do not expect heavy-duty wet detangling, as it shines brightest as a smoothing and finishing brush.
Q.
What is the Denman D81M Blue Belle Style & Shine Brush designed to help with?
A.
It is designed to detangle, shape and add shine for a sleek, frizz-reduced, polished look. Use it as your smoothing and finishing brush. Do not rely on it for blow-drying volume at the roots, as a vented or paddle brush suits that better.
