FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
(# QUESTIONs)
ghdghd Gold Hair Straightener
Q.
How do I use ghd Gold Hair Straightener?
A.
Start with dry, brushed-through hair and a heat protectant. Section the hair, clamp the plates near the roots and glide down to the ends in one smooth pass. Do not use it on wet or damp hair.
Q.
How much hair should I section at a time with ghd Gold Hair Straightener?
A.
Work in sections about 2 to 3 cm wide, so the plates can grip the whole section evenly. Thicker sections need more passes, which means more heat on the hair, so keep them thin.
Q.
Do I need to leave ghd Gold Hair Straightener to cool or rinse anything out after use?
A.
Nothing is rinsed out, because it is a heat tool. Switch it off after styling, let it cool completely on a heat resistant surface and wipe the plates with a soft dry cloth. Never wrap the cord tightly around a hot styler.
Q.
How is ghd Gold Hair Straightener different from a regular hair straightener?
A.
It is a professional style tool built for controlled, even heat across the plates, rather than a basic straightener that can run hotter in patches. That helps you style with fewer passes.
Q.
What is ghd Gold Hair Straightener designed to help with?
A.
It is designed to give smooth, sleek, straight styles and can also be used to add bends and soft waves. It suits all hair types when used with a heat protectant.
